It's so wonderful to have a chance to see everybody here in the USA! Meals with friends and family, Bible Studies with spiritual mentors, hikes with adventurous colleagues... We are refreshed. We also have a chance to enjoy the comforts of western society, and the efficiencies of daily living. We find alot of challenges, however, as well.

We are excited to have a chance to share with everyone at Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring, Oregon, this coming weekend! They are bringing in missionaries from all over the world to share about how God is working in and through their lives. It's quite an exciting time, and we hope to see many of our friends from Portland there.  They have services on Saturday evening and two more on Sunday morning. See you there!

Furlough time in the US of A. You people here drive on the wrong side of the street! (Look out for that Car, Waffle!) You have yummy food every day! (Look out for those Carbs, Val!) You all speed around in vehicles and don't stop to visit your neighbors! (Whoooosh!) And the phones and internet work almost all of the time! ( :) ) It's so cold! (Brrrrrr!) My Berkenstocks are chilly!
