New Horizons Foundation, based in Colorado Springs, is our mission sending organisation. They are a registered US Non-Profit, which oversees many ministries around the world. They work with us on budgets, planning and training in fund-raising and we send our accountability and reports to them regularly. Waffle began Christian Adventure Ministry (CAM) under New Horizons Foundations many years ago.

Originally, CAM was primarily a US based ministry, geared towards providing outdoors adventure activities for youth and adventuresome families, with a focus on spiritual growth, leadership development and maturity.

Christian Adventure Ministry has now evolved to include international, wholistic ministries, especially focused in East Africa: NE Uganda. Many of our ministries are done in conjunction with CLIDE Consultancy, a Ugandan national NGO (non-profit) that Val and her Ugandan team established in 2007. We also network and minister with various other partners in Africa as well as Asia, and potentially in other regions of the world. We live in the "uttermost parts of the Earth" now, in Uganda, but we would like to be available for God's leading to serve short term in any corner He choses!
